While the title has its highlights, most of them come from its bonus features. Otherwise, it follows basic slot gameplay to a T. Some people will appreciate the simplicity, while others will be a bit bored with how uninspired it feels. We’re definitely in the latter camp – Wild Bandolier isn’t all that interesting outside of its features.

One area where this game shines is the visuals. We are happy to confirm they are a massive step up from what came before. We like what’s on offer overall, but a few areas could be improved. Our main gripe is the playing card royals, which look much more basic than what Play’n GO pulled off in Gunslinger Reloaded. Transparent reels would also let you see more of the backdrop, which becomes visible when you open the paytable.
Ultimately, Wild Bandolier dropped the ball on almost all counts. It’s by no means a bad game, but it feels subpar compared to what its developer can usually do. Because of that, we recommend skipping this game in favour of Gunslinger Reloaded, which is much more fun and rewarding.
